Use this form to file a Satisfaction of Maritime Lien on a documented vessel.  If you have filed a maritime lien on a vessel and the vessel owner has satisfied that lien, you must file a satisfaction with the Coast Guard or you could be subject to a fine of up to $10,000 pursuant to 46 U.S.C. § 31309, 46 U.S.C. § 31321(f).
